Capture the color – travel photos in all colors #1
We use our fancy camera to capture travel moments. We share them on the internet and maybe use them for a photo album, but after that the photos lose their moment of fame. I want to share my most colorful photos with you guys, in two Capture the Color articles. Today you will see photos with a lot of red, orange and yellow!
It’s hard to take photos of butterflies, but I was lucky! I made this photo in Peperpot Nature Park in Suriname.
I made this photo in one of the oldest streets of the Chinese city of Chengdu; Jinli Street. People use these little bags as an offer.
The island of Burano, nearby Venice, is so colorful! You can read more about the islands around Venice in this blog.
I eat a lot of fruit when I’m abroad. Bananas are still my favorite, but strawberries are as well really nice!
Photographers will love the botanic garden in Bogotá, the capital of Colombia!
Costa Rica is one of the best places in the world to spot animals! I found this cute little (and not poisonous) frog in the jungle near Tortuguero.
The town hall of Valencia – in Spanish ayuntamiento – is worth a visit. And it’s free! If you’re going to this Spanish city and you want more tips you should definitely read the article about my favorite places in Valencia!
Birds on a little market in the capital of China: Beijing.
I love these lamps! If I ever settle down I will definitely search for some of these.
In Laos the people wake up really early. In a lot of towns people will give food tot he monks in the morning, like here in Luang Prabang. Go to the main street if you want to check this ritual out. But be respectful: I was really ashamed when a group of tourists were running around and taking pictures of the monks ALL THE FREAKING TIME…
There are orange trees in the center of Valencia! Though I don’t know if they taste well…
These giant pans are used to cook paella, the famous Spanish dish. I saw these ones on the San Miguel market in Madrid. If you’re hungry, this is the place to be.
A cute little boy in Colombia, who was catching some lobsters with his father.
The Colombian town of Guatapé is so lovely! If you want to see more colorful pictures you will see them in this Pretty Picture Time.
And also the Tatacoa Desert in Colombia is such a beautiful place. If you can’t get enough of this Colombian hidden gem check out the other photos!
Sunsets are always nice, right? I’ve made this photo at the amazing San Blas islands of Panama.
And also this sunrise was a nice surprise after a night of work with the turtles in Costa Rica. Here you can read everything about my volunteer work with the turtles in Costa Rica!
I love this colorful plant! You will find it everywhere, from Asia to Latin America. Sometimes you can find little animals like frogs or caterpillars inside the leaves.
Guatemala is so colorful! I really liked the town of Antigua and the beautiful buildings.
This one is a golden oldie. I made this picture in Germany, near the Rhine river. At that time I didn’t even knew what bokeh (playing with the sharpness in photos) was, but it’s proof that you don’t have to know everything about photography to take nice pictures!
So many temples in Luang Prabang, Laos.
I enjoyed this lovely sunset when the boat passed San Michele, the island where the people from Venice are buried.
Another colorful picture of the island of Burano, nearby Venice!
The central market of Valencia is the perfect stop for a lunch or a snack. Do you guys like the decoration as well?
This old man selled fruit in the Colombian city of Cartagena.
And I also loved taking pictures on the fruit market in Bogotá, the capital of Colombia!
In the jungle of Colombia I saw some of these parrots, really funny creatures.
Did I already mention I love Cartagena? You will see a lot of tourists here for sure, but that doesn’t mean the city isn’t wonderful.
And some more street art in Cartagena…
I hope you guys liked the pictures. Next time I’m gonna show you photos with a lot of green, blue and purple, so stay tuned!
